About Payments and Booking
Q. How is the initial consultation conducted?
A. The initial consultation date is scheduled over the phone when you call or by email. Please take the time to look over the packages on this site before we met. All consultations are free.
Q. How do we book our date?
A. When I am booked as your photographer, there is an signed contract and a non-refundable 50% down deposit. The deposit is deducted from the final total. In order to help keep our cost as low as possible and continue to pass our savings on to our clients, we do not currently accept credit cards. We do however, accept payments via PayPal, which allows you to use your credit card if you so choose. You do not need a PayPal account to make a credit card payment. We accept personal checks for initial booking payment only; however, cash, cashiers checks and certified money order for the final payment is accepted. Please make checks or certified money orders out to Special Moments Pro. The balance is due fourteen (14) days before the event. Returned checks are subject to a $40 returned check fee.
Q. How far in advance should we book our photographer?
A. For Bridal and Engagements: If you plan on having a wedding during a popular or busy period of the year, such as warmer months or during a holiday, it's always a good idea to book your wedding photographer 12 months to 18 months in advance. If you plan to marry during a quieter time of the year, we'd recommend at least 10 months in advanced. But for starters call to see if your date is open. For All other events we recommend at lease 3 weeks advance notice.
